So I started this blog almost three years ago and haven't been very consistent with it. AT ALL. I don't know if I ever will be, but I am going to try to do better. I think the reason for this is that I am somewhat of a private person and have a hard time putting personal stuff "out there."
Today is my fifth anniversary. We have been together for eight years total. Matthew is my best friend. We have been through so much in our relationship, more than some go through in a lifetime. We are better for it. I think I will write a book one day. And now God has chosen to bless us with a child. I am so excited and humbled with this. I pray daily for our baby and will try to be be the best mom to take care of this precious person that God has put on loan to us.
Something else I have been thinking about lately: friends and family. I am so thankful for friends that I can pray with and for and that do the same for me. I am so thankful for my family. I love spending time with them.
The Lord is good all the time. I often sing an old hymn in my head: "Great is Thy Faithfulness! Great is Thy Faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see! All I have need of thy hand hath provided. Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto me!"
